Bimini Love is a 17-year-old school girl from Cornwall and two years ago, she decided to do something about period poverty in Cornwall.
She noticed an increasing number of female homeless people where she lives and did some research, realising that these women don't have easy access to supplies for their most basic sanitary needs.
So she decided to do something about it and created Street Cramps. In the end it raised in total over £7,000 on Crowdfunder to provide products, clean underwear and heatpads for every homeless women in the county. Enough for a whole year.
But the problem is so much bigger than Cornwall so we've made it easy for you to start a Street Cramps project in your community. A template crowdfunding page is only one click away. Or show your support for the Street Cramps projects popping up across the country.
