Aim: Help the Astor Theatre thrive as a focus of culture and community events in the heart of Deal.
The Astor is truly a community theatre with something for everyone.
Last year our programme included music, touring theatre, live film screenings, family panto and more. This year we will add comedy, family friendly acts and many Deal Festival events.
Local artists exhibit & community groups have subsidised room hire. Babies make music, people with dementia enjoy creative activities, singers sing, young dancers dance, seniors pass on their knowledge & experience.
Now we need your help to keep expanding and reaching new audiences. Rising energy & supply costs stretch our resources. We rely on our brilliant volunteers.
We hope you are as inspired as we are by the variety & quality of cultural events The Astor brings to Deal. There is huge potential to build our role & entertain more people with greater variety of performances & art forms.
