Chest Fund

Cornwall Council and Crowdfunder aim to support small-scale projects which seek to serve the people of Cornwall and deliver a clear and demonstrable benefit to the local community.  This collaborative campaign is part of our wider commitment to inspire individuals, community groups, charities and businesses to enhance local communities, increase resilience and support vulnerable people. If you have an idea, join us and play your part in transforming your local area.

If your project is crowdfunding in the areas below, you could receive a pledge of up to £1,000 from your local councillor from his or her Cornwall Councillor Community Chest.

NB. If your local area is not represented above, please speak to your local councillor.

Applications should be for projects which deliver a clear and demonstrable benefit to the local community within the Councillor's electoral division.  Any locally constituted and recognised 'not for profit' organisation which seeks to serve the people of Cornwall will qualify.

Types of local projects that could be eligible: Community, Vulnerable, Children and Young people, Older people, Facilities, Environment projects, Community Safety, Arts, Events, Heritage, Buildings, Improvements, Capacity building, Health, Disability, Sports, Open Spaces.
