Cornwall Council: Community Chest Fund has provided £149 of match funding
Our aim is to build new toilet facilities beside the club pavilion as our current toilet block is no longer fit for purpose.
We are a family friendly cricket club in Cornwall who have recently achieved ECB Clubmark status.

We offer cricket opportunities to men and women, boys and girls aged from 5 years upwards and covering a wide range abilities. We currently run 2 mens teams, a womens softball team, 2 junior teams (at under 15 years and under 13 years) and also ECB All Stars and Dynamos training and coaching programmes (from 5 to 11 year olds).
The Deer Park Cricket Ground is based on the beautiful Boconnoc Estate and the club has been playing here since 1846. The increase in club members has risen due to the formation of our youth teams in 2018 and our womens softball team in 2019. This year for the first time the club offered All Stars and Dynamos cricket and increased numbers even more, with lots of parents attending as well.
The improvement in facilities will allow us to continue to grow the club and benefit all attending the Deer Park.

The club is seeking financial support towards the cost of new toilet facilities at the cricket ground. Our current toilets are not up to standard and no longer fit for purpose as they are located some distance from the cricket pavilion. The new facilities will be used by our club playing members, supporters and especially on a Sunday morning when we have over 50 children taking part in cricket training. We want to incorporate a disabled accessible toilet within the new building which will be a wooden construction to compliment the current club buildings.

We are looking to raise £5000 in this campaign, the rest of the total will be covered by club funds. The overall cost to create the building is in the region of £8000, for a much needed facility.
The money raised will be used to pay for architect fees, building materials and builders costs. Some of the work will be carried out by club members on a voluntary basis.

This new facility will be used by up to 100 club members, club supporters and visitors to the cricket ground. The ground is also used during June and July for evening friendly cricket matches against local organisations and charities, this will make a more pleasant experience for all attending cricket at Boconnoc CC.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
