Help them get started
Your support makes a difference
Aim: Growing Kidora.uk – a community-first marketplace helping UK parents buy & sell preloved baby and kids' items affordably and sustainably.
About Kidora
I'm Karolina Gudes, a mum of two from Broughton (with Kidora registered in Wrexham) and the founder of Kidora.uk – the UK's first dedicated marketplace for second-hand baby, kids, and maternity items.
When I became a mum in 2022, I was shocked at how quickly babies grow and how expensive it is to keep up with the constant need for clothes, equipment, and essentials. Like so many parents, I ended up with mountains of barely-used baby gear. Selling on Facebook or Vinted was stressful – ghosting, no-shows, and generic platforms not built for families.
So I created Kidora – a platform by parents, for parents. A clean, easy-to-use marketplace where every item finds a second life and every purchase helps another family.
Why Kidora Matters
Kidora is more than an app – it's a community-powered solution to two urgent issues:
The rising cost of living – We help families save and earn money by giving them a trusted space to buy and sell quality baby and kids' essentials at a fraction of retail price.
Sustainability & waste reduction – Over 180 million baby items are unused or binned each year in the UK. We’re keeping them in circulation and out of landfill.
In just two weeks since launch (May 2025), parents have already listed over 400 items – from slings and prams to maternity wear and toddler toys.
Community Roots
We started small – a bootstrapped idea from my living room in Broughton, co-founded with my partner Martin and our friend John. We're now growing quickly, and with your help, we can reach thousands more UK families.
Kidora is live on iOS, Android, and web. It’s free to sell, offers secure payments, and supports both local pickup and delivery.
But we’re also building something bigger: a UK-wide community of parents supporting each other.

Our Vision
We want Kidora to become the go-to platform for sustainable parenting in the UK – helping families reduce spending, support each other, and protect the planet. We envision warm, welcoming spaces where parents feel seen, supported, and empowered to make eco-conscious choices.
Whether it’s a first-time mum looking for affordable baby clothes or a family wanting to declutter with purpose – Kidora is here to help.
