This project means the world to me. I’m restoring a rare 1964 hearse with a Ghostbusters vision in mind,
This project is about more than restoring a vehicle it’s about creating something meaningful for the community. Once secured and restored, the hearse will be used for charity walks, hospital visits, community events, and themed appearances to bring smiles and support to those who need it most. Four years ago my mother in law was told she had cancer which got me to thinking about charity work. I started doing charity walks dressed as a ghostbuster to raise funds for cancer research. Sadly two years ago my mother in law died. i put the charity walks on hold as we had a lot of things to sort out. last year my dad was told he had cancer. my dad had the cancer removed. I am wanting now to restart the charity work but with the hearse so i can do more.
I am raising £11k to bring a 1964 Cadillac hearse home to the UK.
I have been in talks with the current owner of the hearse. We have agreed to secure the hearse for the reason. I am breaking the project down into stages so it is more understandable.
Stage one is finding the hearse and paying for it at $6000. It will cost $3000 to ship to the uk. Before the hearse to be shipped it needs to have the windsheld replaced at $1000 and the rear window replaced at $250.
Stage two will involve sorting out the paint and filling in any holes etc which I do not have costing for at this time. I will also need the roof rack and ladder for car at $2.400 plus shipping at $1000. I also would need to buy and fit to the roof 2 blue light bars 4 blue round spot lights which will roughly be $4000.
Stage three will involve 2 strobe lights for the front bumper not yet costed have the chrome polished. 2 jump seats for the back about $500 each the internal build I still have to get costing for.
I know this is a big ask, but I truly believe in the bigger picture. With your help, we can prove that kindness, compassion, and community still exist. Every donation no matter the size brings me one step closer to saving this hearse and turning it into a vehicle of hope and charity.

This hearse is not just a personal dream it represents healing, purpose, and the chance to give back. Restoring and using this vehicle would help me rebuild my confidence, support my mental health, and regain direction in life after many setbacks.
