3We live in an age where our global leaders are failing to show up for the environment. And businesses? Many of the world's major polluters are falling short of UN 2030 climate targets.
The weight of protecting the natural world we depend upon falls heavily on the shoulders of local environmental groups. Often underpaid and always overworked, yet highly effective.
To top it off, less than 3% of global philanthropy goes towards saving the natural world.
We want to change this.
OUR MISSION & MODEL
Even some of the world's most celebrated destinations are the least protected. Thankfully, everywhere you look, talented individuals are working to protect their patch. Since 2020, we have launched, funded and grown 22 Foundations, dispersing millions to grassroots environmental initiatives. Conservation Collective partners with donors to set up new locally managed Foundations, catalyses fundraising and partnership opportunities, and shares knowledge to drive impact.
