Up to £10,000 to activate and enhance community spaces

Crowdfunder teamed up with Sport England to offer up to £10,000 in match funding to projects dedicated to enhancing the spaces in their local community that give people the opportunity to be active.

Whether it’s the park you run through, the hall you do classes in or the ground you play on, welcoming and accessible spaces have a big impact on a person’s experience – and likelihood of coming back and staying active.

Traditional sports facilities where people spend time getting active are still an important part of this, but it can be much wider too. It doesn’t have to be a traditional space – or a traditional sport - we want to hear from everyone!

Apply for funding

You can then choose to make an application for a relevant fund. If a partner likes your project, they may agree to support it.

Start raising money from the crowd and once you reach an agreed percentage of your target, one of our partners could boost your total with a large donation.
