Disasters Emergency Trust are still collecting donations in response to the devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria in February 2023 to provide support to those affected.

DEC are responding and working with locally-led relief efforts. Immediate priorities are medical treatment for the injured, shelter for those who have lost their homes, heaters for safe spaces and winter kits with blankets, and ensuring people have food and clean water.

A £10 donation can supply blankets for two individuals to stay warm, while £25 can provide emergency food to sustain a family for 10 days. A £50 donation can offer emergency shelter to two families in need, and £100 can provide shelter for four families.
