Keep Tristan rescuing in Turkey!

Aim

London based SA-paramedic with a last minute call to join a charity rescue team in Turkey. Unpaid leave, minimal gear - I am still digging.

With previous critical care experience in South Africa and basic USAR training (now in London), I got a last minute call just before midnight (10/02/2023) to fill a spot on a charity rescue/relief team. With only 16 hours to prepare I have barely any clothing or equipment ready.

To top this all off, I’m going over unpaid! My views are that rent and gas can wait when others are still trapped under rubble.

This fund is here to help me get the equipment I need in order to be rescue ready and save families that are still trapped under rubble. The rest will go towards any unforeseen expenses, and the remainder will go to Turkey relief efforts.
