Success story

Change the story

Little Box of Books launched Change the Story, a social enterprise campaign led by Lynsey Pollard and supported by Rochelle Humes, to tackle the lack of representation in children’s literature in UK primary schools. The project raised over £57,500 from more than 1,000 supporters, funding inclusive and diverse storybooks for under-resourced schools. By distributing thousands of books, it helped children from minority ethnic backgrounds see themselves in literature, challenged stereotypes, and fostered empathy and understanding among all students.
