On a weekly basis in Haverfordwest we hold a Breakfast club providing healthy nutritious food to anyone who wants to pop in! It’s a great social event and sets us up for the day.
As a team we also get out and about volunteering for others by maintaining their gardens, keeping them looking good, planting and even painting down at the football pitch. Simon a veteran who volunteers with us said ‘ I love getting outdoors and helping others It makes me feel good and I sleep better too at the end of the day‘.
Every Tuesday in Pembroke Dock we offer a cooked meal to over 40 people who often don’t have access to home cooked meals. Volunteers mange the food preparation, phone people to invite them to come in, arrange transport via our volunteer drivers, lay the tables and wash up! It’s a huge task but people love sitting and eating together chatting with new people and drinking teas and coffees afterward.
