We provide laptops, tablets and internet capabilities to low income families, pensioners and others who are in deprivation areas and cannot afford the tech or internet costs otherwise

Take 2 Tech takes unwanted laptops, desktops, tablets and phones, converts them to chromebooks or factory resets, and issues them to people in areas of deprivation, on low income, pensioners or people with disabilities who need to access the internet.
We also pay for broadband to be installed in people's homes and cover their internet bill for a period of at least a year.
We started doing this during the pandemic when children needed to be home schooled and people were working off a single pay as you go mobile phone, as there was no infrastructure set up to help people.
The cost-of-living crisis is making things even worse for people who still need to homeschool, work from home are homebound or to simply keep in contact with others such as carer's, families and medical professionals. Internet access will be one of the first luxuries to go as people struggle to feed themselves and pay for heating and we aim to remove that burden from them by installing and paying for a year's internet per home, as well as providing a laptop or similar device to work from.
