Relate Mid & East Surrey is a trusted local charity dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and young people through high-quality, affordable counselling and support services. Our charity supports adults and children and young people by providing essential mental health and well-being services. We operate independently to provide a safe, inclusive space where people can address relationship challenges, mental health issues, and family concerns. Our highly trained counsellors specialise in individual, couple, and family counselling, with additional expertise in young people’s mental health and well-being.

Relate Mid and East Surrey is seeing first hand the impact of the cost of living crisis on families, individuals, couples and young people within our community. Not only does the stress of low income and tight finances cause difficulties and arguments within families, as well as anxiety and worry, but it also means seeking support to improve mental health and relationships are no longer a priority. However if difficulties are left too long the individuals, couples, families and children can reach crisis point and relationships break down, mental health declines and children may be living in high conflict unhappy households.
