Aim
Let’s Talk Well are providing FREE counselling for children, young people & their families right across the Forest of Dean & Gloucestershire
For over 30 years, Let's Talk Well (formerly Teens In Crisis) have provided free counselling and support for 9-25 year olds throughout Gloucestershire, last year reaching over 4,000 young people. Our mission is to ensure everyone has someone to talk to, no matter the size of their problem. 
We focus on early intervention, especially for those who fall between the cracks - unable to access statutory services like CAMHS, yet still in need of meaningful support. Our 90 trained counsellors meet young people in safe, familiar spaces across the county.
THE NEED NOW: Timely one‑to‑one support for Forest of Dean young people
Across the Forest of Dean, children and young people are struggling - yet many cannot access the help they need. Long waiting lists and high thresholds mean too many are told to wait, or that they don’t meet the criteria for support, even when they are clearly at risk.
This project will provide timely, one‑to‑one counselling for 9–25 year olds who need someone to talk to now. Young people will be matched with a trained counsellor and supported in a safe, familiar local setting, helping them to explore what’s going on beneath the surface and build healthy coping strategies.
Every pound raised will directly fund counselling sessions. With your support, we can ensure young people in the Forest of Dean don’t face their mental health challenges alone.
