Help the Tute

Aim

To raise money for ongoing maintenance to the building, to keep it serving Benarty!

Gifted to the mining village of Benarty in 1936, the Institute has been a lynchpin of the community. It's seen the villagers through all the highs and lows of the many decades past since it first opened its doors to help the villagers of Benarty--the miners and their families.  At almost a hundred years old, it's constantly in need of repairs and upkeep, we are trying desperately hard not to lose this vital pillar of the Community.  As a charity we are reliant on grants and the generosity of the community to raise funds for necessary repairs and upkeep of the building.

Though we hate to ask, we really do need the community's help to keep the "Tute", a stalwart of the villages, open and running and continuing to see the villagers through the events life sends their way.
