Callum's Voice is a small but very passionate Registered Charity run entirely by volunteers and is based in Alfreton, Derbyshire and was founded in memory of Callum who tragically passed away after taking his own life in April 2019 aged only 18.
Originally a C.I.C (Community Interest Company), after lots of hard work and dedication we became a fully registered Charity in February 2020.
Our Mission is:-
•To support autistic children to achieve and maintain positive mental health so that they can lead happy, healthy lives
We achieve our mission through our Wellbeing Hub in Alfreton House, this provides a welcoming, safe space for children, families and adults who are able to browse our library of books and leaflets, chat to our volunteers, access crafts and mindful activities or take part in one of our free drop in sessions.
We also fully fund private counselling/psychotherapy sessions for children and young people who may either not meet the criteria for or may be on the waiting list for other services such as CAHMS.
To find out more about Callum's Voice you can find us on Facebook or visit our website www.callumsvoice.org.uk.
We hope to be able to support more children, young people and families by increasing engagement with schools and the wider community.
Your donations will enable us to continue our current activities as well as supporting our future plans.
Your support means the world to us and will enable us to support more young people (and their families) giving young people with autism a voice to improve mental health and prevent suicide.
Thank you.
