Win a truly one-of-a-kind Jackson electric guitar signed at Download Festival 2025 by artists including Korn, Green Day, Sex Pistols, Meshuggah, Cradle of Filth, Wargasm, Lorna Shore, The Darkness, Hatebreed and Jinger.
What makes this guitar truly special is the journey it has taken. After being signed by the artists at the festival, the guitar travelled to the Himalayas and was carried to the summit of Mount Manaslu (8,163m), the 8th highest mountain in the world.
It was taken there by world-record-holding climbers Adriana Brownlee, the youngest woman to summit K2 and the youngest to climb all 14 eight-thousanders — alongside legendary Nepali climber Gelje Sherpa.
This extraordinary journey likely makes it the first electric guitar ever taken above 8,000 metres.
There will be one winner, who will receive the guitar.
The winner will be announced on 19 June 2026, and the guitar will be securely shipped from London, UK to the winner anywhere in the world.
All funds raised will support Metal For Nepal’s charitable work, including the Warm Smiles campaign providing winter jackets to children in remote Himalayan communities, and our newly launched Art For Heart initiative, which aims to bring art supplies and creative education to some of the most underprivileged children in Nepal.
This guitar carries more than signatures, it carries a journey from Download Festival to over 8,000 metres in the Himalayas, helping create opportunities for children thousands of miles away.
THE CAUSE
This prize draw is organised by Metal For Nepal, a UK-registered charity that brings together the global music, metal, tattoo and arts community to support some of the most disadvantaged children in remote regions of Nepal.
Metal For Nepal was originally founded after the devastating 2015 Nepal earthquake, when members of the global music community came together to help rebuild homes and support affected communities. Since then, the charity has continued to support vulnerable families and children across Nepal through humanitarian and education-focused projects.
One of our core initiatives is Warm Smiles, a campaign that delivers warm winter jackets to children in remote Himalayan regions where temperatures drop far below freezing. Many children in these high-altitude villages do not have proper winter clothing, which often forces them to miss school during the coldest months. Our goal is simple: keep children warm so they can continue learning.
This draw will also help expand our newly launched campaign Art For Heart, which aims to bring creativity and art education to children in some of the most underprivileged and hard-to-reach communities in Nepal. Through this initiative we provide art kits containing sketchbooks, pencils, colours, and other creative materials — giving children the opportunity to express themselves and explore their imagination.
