Success story

Library makeover SOS

Downsbrook Primary School wanted to transform their dark, dingy and uninspiring library into a new library space that was light, bright and an inviting sanctuary for reading where all children can see themselves in the pages of a book. They aimed to raise £5,000 to purchase comfy seating, create bespoke and vibrant feature walls and improve book accessibility to help children in their reading journey. They successfully raised £5,290 from 93 supporters and now have a new look for their library.
