We're still collecting donations
On the 29th April 2023 we'd raised £7,013 with 63 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Share Bristol has an exciting opportunity - the chance to open a Library of Things in South Bristol. But we need your help to do this.

On the 29th April 2023 we'd raised £7,013 with 63 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Anything we raise above what we need to open a second Library of Things will help make the premises more welcoming and better equipped. For example, purchasing furniture, PPE for you to borrow, consumables for the things we lend out and parts to repair donated items. We might even have enough to fund a part-time staff member for a while to help us get set up and running smoothly.
Share Bristol opened the first Library of Things in the Bristol area in 2021, and since then hundreds of people have borrowed instead of bought, completed DIY projects, held great parties, sorted their gardens, kept the kids occupied, been camping, saved lots of money and de-cluttered their homes.
But the Kingswood branch is only accessible to a small proportion of Bristol's residents. We have the chance to open a second Library of Things in 2023, bringing sharing to the people of South Bristol.
We are currently negotiating on a property in Bedminster, but need to know that we have the support of local communities before our small not-for-profit invests all our funds in setting up this new Library.
Please donate today to give us the reassurance that the people of Bristol care about the environment, and are happy to borrow instead of buy.
Plus there's something in it for you! Donating could get you an annual membership for all of Share Bristol's Libraries of Things, which enables you to borrow hundreds of things, and all for free.
Support us now, and you (and your friends and family) could be borrowing very soon!
