We can all use a little help when starting out, so below we’ve put together some helpful advice on how to run your crowdfunding project and what tools you have available to you.

Your profile page
Every time you sign in, there’s always an option in the top corner of the screen to visit your projects and even start a new project. You can run as many projects and prize draws as you like! You can edit each project from this page, this will show your live projects and your drafts.

Setting up your project
​Crowdfunder offers two different funding methods; All or Nothing and Flexible Funding, take a minute to make sure you choose the right option for you. You also have the option to display a new, bigger target after reaching 100% of your target that you originally set. These are optional, can be updated or removed at any time. Finally, you have the option to keep your page open beyond your closing date to receive further donations.

Adding rewards
Offering rewards to your supporters is a great way to say ‘thank you’. It’s also an effective way of generating supporter interest and increasing the amount of money they pledge on your project.

How can you get +Extra Funding?
All our +Extra Funding opportunities are available to ‘new projects’ only. Complete the +Extra funding section of the project builder and this will then automatically flag the opportunities to you. Once you have a project that’s live, always check your project dashboard to see if any new opportunities have become available. There is also a cracking webinar recording that talks about how to attract +Extra Funding.

Regular donations
​On our platform monthly donations are also known as ‘regular donations’. The regular donation is offered during the checkout process to every person unless you choose to switch the feature off.

What’s on your live dashboard?
Once you go live you will have access to your project dashboard, which contains all the tools you need to make your project a success. From seeing all your donations and who has claimed a reward. To how to generate promotional tools such as tracking links and QR codes.

Needing inspiration?
Sometimes the best way to learn is look at previous successful projects and find out what steps they took towards success. Our Explore page or our Top 100 projects from 2023 have many amazing examples for all sizes of projects.
