Supporting vulnerable community members with essential items, guidance, and opportunities for positive change.
YMCA Glenrothes is proudly taking part in this year's Kilt walk to raise vital funds that will help us continue supporting people across our local community. Every day, we work alongside young people, individuals experiencing homelessness, and community members facing a range of challenges, helping them build brighter, more positive futures.
Our services include youth work programmes that empower and inspire young people, supported accommodation and tailored support for those experiencing homelessness, and a variety of community projects designed to improve wellbeing, confidence, and life opportunities. This includes initiatives such as our Digital Academies, which help people develop essential digital skills, and Project Mindset, our mental health and wellbeing programme that supports individuals to improve their resilience, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
As funding becomes increasingly difficult to secure, fundraising events like the Kilt walk play a crucial role in helping us sustain and grow these services. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us provide practical support, create opportunities, and ensure that the people who rely on us continue to receive the help they need.
That's why our team is lacing up their walking boots and taking on the Kilt walk challenge! We'd love for you to get involved by signing up to walk with us, making a donation, or sharing our fundraising efforts with others. Together, we can make a real and lasting difference in the lives of people across Glenrothes and the surrounding communities. Thank you for your support! 💜🚶♀️🚶♂️🌟
