By donating and entering the prize draw you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Entrants must be 18 years or over. Entry is open to UK entrants only, and excludes employees and board members of The Brain Charity, Endura or W Communications, their immediate families, or any other third party professionally connected with the draw in any way.
2. Each £5 donation will act as entry into the prize draw. You can also purchase ticket bundles for multiple entries from our reward list.
a. To enter the draw without pledging, for free, please send a letter or postcard with the prize draw name, your name, address, email address and contact telephone number to:

Entries must be sent on a postcard or on or within an envelope. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or on, or in, an envelope will not be accepted. In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope or on multiple postcards, only one entry will be entered into the promotion. Entries sent by post must be received by the closing date and time for receipt of entries. Postal entries without correct and sufficient postage paid will be invalid and will not be entered.
b. To enter this prize draw you must select one of the entry reward options on this page. Each £5 donation will act as an entry into the prize draw. You can enter multiple times or purchase one of the ticket bundles from our reward list - if you select multiple entries you stand a higher chance of winning. There is no limit on how many times you can enter online. Entries can be purchased from this page between May 2nd, 2023 and 11.59pm June 2nd, 2023. You can also make a donation without entering the prize draw using the donation only tab toward the top of this page.
3. The promoter is The Brain Charity, registered charity number 1114999, at: The Brain Charity, Norton Street, Liverpool, L3 8LR and the applicable law is the laws of England and Wales.
4. The prize draw will open on May 2nd and close at 11.59pm on June 2nd, 2023.
5. There are four Project Heid helmets available. The helmet specifications are visible on the main page.
6. The winners will be selected at random through a draw performed by a computer process during the week commencing June 5th.
7. Winners will be contacted via phone or email within 7 days and asked to provide their first, second, third and fourth preferences of the four helmets. Helmets will then be sent via DPD to winners by Endura within the next several days.
8. All personal data will be handled in accordance with The Brain Charity’s Privacy Policy, and only for the purposes of the administration of the draw and any other purpose to which the entrant has consented. Click here to view the full Privacy Policy.
9. Prizes are as stated above. There is no cash alternative.
10. The names of winners may be made public.
11. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
12. The Brain Charity reserves the right to: (i) amend these terms and conditions, including but not limited to varying the competition opening and closing times; (ii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules or has acted fraudulently in any way; and (iii) cancel the competition, at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.
13. The Brain Charity, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem which may result in any entry being lost or not properly registered.
14. The helmets are only available in the model/size combinations described, and no exchanges or returns are available.
15. The Brain Charity will receive all donations minus Crowdfunder's fees of 1.9% + £0.20p + VAT per transaction.
16. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when registering.
