Print additional booklets, run photography workshops
Aim: To create three A6 photo ID booklets to be offered for free to visitors to the Combe Valley Discovery Centre
We propose to work with a local photographer to create three A6 photo ID booklets to be offered for free to visitors to the Combe Valley Discovery Centre. 500 of each booklet will be printed. The booklets will cover :
1. Butterflies and Moths
2. Insects and Birds
3. Wildflowers and Fungi
The information will include the common name and scientific name and where and when in the Valley they can be found.
The funding will cover printing costs for 1500 booklets (500 for each species), photos, photo editing, photo book publishing softwares and a second hand laptop. All the research about identifying the wildlife, wildflowers and fungi, photos taking, editing, artwork will be completed by the local multi awards winning photographer donating her time as a volunteer.
