HELLO - I hope that everyone is well! What challenging times!
Just another challenge to get through!
To make the month of February more interesting The Windsor Boys' School Boat Club is aiming to row cycle run and walk around the WHOLE WORLD! 40,075 kilometres!
Now that is a challenge.
We will be raising money for an important local Children's Charity - so important for the boys own morality to be raising money for others, especially other children less fortunate then them. The Alexander Devine Children's Hospice provides incredible support to children's and families at a difficult time.
So we aim to raise as much money as possible towards the ADCH and WBSBC across the month of February.
The challenge is being met by current boys, families and the ALUMNI too - do get in touch at [email protected] if you would like to be involved!
We will be raising money using this platform. Please do donate if you can!
After just 7 days we are accumulated more than 12'000 km! Like getting to Indonesia! Well Done all so far, but a long way to go yet. All updates on our progress are on our facebook Page. www.facebook.com/windsorboysboatclub
Monies raised will go towards the ongoing development of the Mike Tovell Training Centre for The Windsor Boys' School Boat Club, which will include racking for boats and a large marquee structure to protect the boats from the elements and also to the Alexander Devine Hospice to help towards ensuring children and families receive the best care at a very difficult time.
In these uniquely challenging times, the mission is to include current boys, alumni, and families to engage with the challenge in an effort to keep everyone going - physical exercise is really important for mental health and this challenge will hopefully will pull everyone together for a common vision whilst raising funds for two great causes.
