You can help feed families in Waterloo this summer.

On the 6th September 2024 we'd raised £9,345 with 44 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The cost of living is continuing to have a detrimental effect on more families and the school holidays add further pressure on family budgets.
Waterloo Foodbank exists to ensure no one in Waterloo goes hungry. Your help will provide food for families and help them enjoy the summer holidays.
Last summer we provided 3955 food parcels including feeding 1351 children and we expect to be supporting more families with food parcels this summer.
"I was recently let go from work… I’m only entitled to £95 for another 4 weeks... devastating. I was offered food bank vouchers and refused due to pride – lonely, broke and reluctant to turn to family and friends due to shame and pride. I agreed to have a food bank parcel.” Jenny
Finding the money to provide three meals and snacks per day for six weeks is too much for most our families. Most our parents/carers work hard but it’s still not enough. We’ve noticed children returning to school in September undernourished, tired and their mental health negatively impacted.
We want summer to be a time of fun and excitement for families.
We want children to enjoy their holidays and come back to school fit and healthy.
We want parents/carers to feel supported and looked after.
“I am ELATED! I have not smiled this much in weeks! Absolutely everything my children and I needed! I am very GRATEFUL! You are amazing! Without you I don’t know what I’d have done.” Jenny
You can help make this happen.
How?
£5 could provide a family evening meal
£10 could provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for a family
£50 could feed a family for seven days
£500 could feed a family for the school holidays
The more money we raise, the more families like Jenny's we can help.
