Military vs Cancer are a small but might charity, help us fundraise to support military staff past & present battling with cancer diagnosis
I’m excited to share details of an incredible event that Military vs Cancer will be hosting in the Brecon Beacons on Saturday, 30th May 2026 — and we’d love for you to be part of it.
This spring, we’ll be taking on a 22‑mile circular trek, starting from the Dolygaer Outdoor Centre and ascending the legendary Pen‑Y‑Fan, the highest peak in South Wales. This isn’t just a walk — it’s a challenge filled with purpose, community, and the chance to make a genuine impact on the lives of those facing cancer within the Armed Forces community.

💙 How You Can Get Involved
We’ve secured comfortable accommodation and meals at Dolygaer Outdoor Centre for the entire weekend. Here’s what to expect:
- £85 per person for accommodation and meals (Fri–Sun)
- £50 event registration
- Minimum fundraising goal: £200

📅 Weekend Itinerary
Friday 29th May
- 17:00 – Accommodation opens, evening meal available
- 20:00 – Safety brief, meet the walk leaders and the Military vs Cancer team
Saturday 30th May — Challenge Day
- 06:30 – Breakfast
- 07:30 – Safety brief (for those arriving on Saturday)
- All day – 22-mile Brecon Beacons Trek including Pen‑Y‑Fan summit
- 19:00 – Evening meal; bar open
Sunday 31st May
- 08:00 – Breakfast
- 09:00 – Tidy up & departure
