On the 9th September 2024 we'd raised £10,360 with 74 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We'd love to buy a newer machine and some attachments / implement such as a quick hitch, buckets etc
Our charities excavator unfortunately caught fire earlier this month. We were unable to extinguish the fire ourselves. The fire service attended, but the machine is beyond repair. We are absolutely devastated, the machine is a vital piece of equipment for track maintenance.
**Please help our charity**
Running a motocross track, enduro loop, quad track, is a challenge. The work that goes on behind the scenes is huge. We want to continually improve our facility for riders and the wider community. Our contribution to Safer Communities and Youth development is having an impact, your donation will make a difference.
Our charity has a few primary purposes. 👇🏻
1.To make our communities safer by providing a controlled environment enabling Children, Young People and Adults to ride responsibly and legally.
2.To help young people and kids develop through off-road motorcycle related activities
3.To increase the uptake in off-road motorcycle sport - growing grass roots participation
To continue to achieve our high standards, we really need your help. You many not know, but the 360 JCB excavator was a vital piece of machinery. We used it to sculpt and grade the motocross track, improve drainage and irrigation, build and maintain jumps, develop our trials and enduro off-road motorcycle practice areas. We used plant machinery every week, we needed to in order to improve and maintain safety.
All donations will be put towards the purchase of a new or quality used plant machine. The donations will be bolstered by our funds from the sale of the damaged machine and some of our charity reserves. If you donate here, our charity will also be able to claim gift aid, which for every £100, gift aid would give £25
It's our first time facing a challenge of this type and scale. The fire damaged machine still needs salvaged, recovered, broken for spares / scrap? We know there is still good value in the excavator and we want to ensure the most efficient removal and disposal, so that we can put funds towards a new machine. Any help on this too, would be greatly appreciated.
If anyone is in a position to support us with plant breakers, recovery specialist, plant salvage, lifting services / haulage for our fire damaged JS160 excavator. We need the machine sold and removed from our facility.
By donating, you will enable our charity to continue to develop our off-road facility helping us to get Young People "On The Right Track" and help enthusiasts to enjoy their sport.
