Theatre Royal Wakefield supporters are taking on a costumed fun run. Donate now to sponsor our runners and support the theatre.
On Sunday 11 October, staff, supporters and friends of the Theatre will be coming together to complete a fun run to raise vital funds for the Theatre's life-changing work with the local community.
They'll be completing a costumed 2.5km or 5km run of Thornes, Clarence and Holmfield Park.
Can you donate today to sponsor the team and spur them on?
You'll be enabling us to continue running a busy Participation programme, facilitating projects throughout the week that provide inspiring opportunities to improve the wellbeing of and connect our local community.
£100 could pay for a young person's bursary for a term of Performance Academy. Performance Academy provides local people aged 5 to 18 with industry-level singing, dancing and acting training.
£50 could support the cost of having one-to-one support for a learning disabled young person to take part in Chime, our weekly confidence-boosting musical theatre group for learning disabled participants.
£25 could cover the cost of providing a school child with a discounted ticket to see a performance for the first time.
£10 could provide our Conversation Cafe group with tea and biscuits. Conversation Cafe meets weekly and supports individuals to practise their English in a warm relaxed environment.
