Support Forest Gate Church to build a new kitchen and coffee bar at Townsend House, helping local community groups thrive.

Forest Gate Hub is a new community space in Mitcheldean, created by Forest Gate Church to invest in the town's future. The Hub (formerly Townsend House Care Home) will be a place for people of all ages to connect, find support, and take part in community life — from warm spaces and a community café to toddler groups, youth activities, and local initiatives. Shaped by local needs and ideas, we hope to create a space where the whole community can continue to grow and thrive.
We need you!
We plan to move our regular services and activities to the Hub from Autumn 2026 and in order to do this we need your help. The building currently has no catering or coffee facilities and so we're fundraising to help prepare the kitchen space for church and community use.
Every pound counts and we hope with the support of the Suntory 'Together for good' community fund we can make your donations go even further for the community of Mitcheldean and beyond.
