Gavin Book's - Tour De Mentia 2025

Aim

I like many others have experienced first hand the impact that this cruel disease has on those affected and their loved ones.

This week is Dementia Awareness Week, which is raising awareness of the importance of an early diagnosis for people affected by dementia.

Having recently joining Aviva and hearing about the Tour De Mentia challenge, 'The Longest Day', it was easy for me to say yes to being part of an amazing team who will be raising money for the Alzheimer's Society with Insurance United Against Dementia.

Having seen loved ones suffer directly and indirectly from this cruel disease and knowing many people who have also been affected I feel compelled to join this epic event.

On the 2nd July I will be riding from Rochester in Kent to Weston Super Mare in Somerset with colleagues from Aviva and our broker partners, covering 205 miles in just one day, all in memory of my loved ones and others who have been affected by Dementia.

The will be my longest ride and if you are able to contribute and help such a great cause I and others would be so grateful. The donations really do make a huge difference in the fight against dementia.
