Aim
Our Memorial Park play equipment is desperately in need of an upgrade, where kids of all ages and abilities can enjoy and play safely.
Thornton Community Council are fundraising to update the current play park equipment as it is out dated and provides limited stimulus to the children as it stands, owing to the ever expanding Community.
Families, our local school and visiting junior football teams enjoy our park. We also have a fairy garden located at the bottom of the park, which was created and is cared for by a few of our local volunteers which is proving very popular.
We want to install new, safe and inclusive equipment for children of all ages to enjoy together with their families and to also enjoy picnic facilities.
