Do you ever feel disempowered, angry and frankly depressed by all that's happening in contemporary UK politics?
Do you want to be part of building an alternative but maybe don't know where to start?
We got tired of waiting for the government to take action. Like you, we watched energy bills destroy family budgets while politicians did nothing. 10 million UK households now in fuel poverty.
So we said: "If not us, then who? If not now, then when?"
Then we did something about it.
On one street in Walthamstow, 20 households cut their energy bills by 30% by installing solar together. We didn't wait for government help. We didn't ask permission.
The result shocked us: It worked. And now everyone wants to know how.
The response has been incredible:
- 47 cinemas demanding the film
- 3 neighbouring streets already organizing and more in Sheffield, Hull and even Acton!
- 5 local schools going solar
- Communities asking "how do we start?"
Here's what happens at every screening: Neighbours who've never spoken suddenly realize they can transform their street together. WhatsApp groups form that night. Within months, solar panels appear.
Climate chaos and the cost-of-living crisis aren't separate problems—they're the same problem. This film shows exactly how ordinary people are taking power—literally—into their own hands.
