Aim

At The Inquiry, we uphold the principle that all safeguarding cases deserve independent scrutiny.

Safeguarding in the UK is failing far too many people. Too often, cases are handled behind closed doors, without independent scrutiny or real accountability. Survivors and families are left fighting for answers that should have been freely given.

The Inquiry exists to change this.

We’re campaigning for a new law that requires every safeguarding case to be independently scrutinised, not reviewed internally, not covered up, but properly examined independently.

Alongside this, we’re supporting two live petitions calling for an independent inquiry into the Diocese of London, where serious concerns have gone unanswered for far too long.

But building a national movement takes resources.
Your support funds the essentials:

  • Campaign materials.
  • The work needed to bring legislation into Parliament.
  • The Inquiry Website.

Any donation will make a big difference. It keeps the campaign running, maintains momentum for change, and gives us the stability to fight for independent safeguarding scrutiny.

If you believe safeguarding must protect people, not institutions, please support us.

Together, we can change the law and prevent future harm.
