Welcome to Seend’s 2020 village crowdfunding page.

As many of you know, the opportunity to raise money through the Fete and through events like the Beer Festival were thoroughly disrupted by lockdown. 

The need for fundraising still exists and as such, we are getting creative. 

Having witnessed the community coming together throughout Covid-19, we decided it would be great to celebrate Seend as a whole and try to raise some money, not just for the Lye but for some of the other clubs or organisations within the village.

’The Big Picnic’ is a one day event taking place on the 8th August (Fete day). Our campaign however runs for 8 weeks up to the 17th August.

Celebrate with your neighbours as a street party or host a few friends in your garden.

A picnic can be scaled up or scaled down depended on government advice/guidelines. 

We are asking every household and organisation to get involved and raise money through donations and sponsored events. 

Share the link with friends and family, set yourself a challenge, set your mates a challenge, get involved with one of the many activities we will be promoting over the next 8 weeks or just donate whatever you can to the cause.
