Hope you've been keeping well through the absurd weather and these continued, unprecedented times.

A little note and update from us. So far, so very good with the campaign. We remain very touched and very grateful for the support that has flowed in since it went live. Thank you all immensely for your contributions, your involvement of the fringe events and for your shares. Every action brings us closer to re-opening our doors and having you back! We cannot express how brilliant that makes us feel; thank you many times over.

As August, the month we had hoped to re-open in, draws to a close, we're facing more and more obstacles before taking the next steps to re-open. The landscape for the hospitality sector is still very rocky at the moment. We don't think we need to explain in detail everything we're facing right now. What we will highlight is that: negotiations regarding our rent are still on-going; the country appears to be gearing towards a second lockdown; there is the notion of closing pubs whilst kids return to school; the torrential rain means we're looking at some extra work done in the pub and we're generally juggling so many considerations for you, our staff and our business that we're not willing to rush anything. For these reasons (and no doubt some others), we're going to extend the campaign for a bit longer. We think it's best to keep it running as we keep tackling all that we need to. Please know we've certainly not lost faith in re-opening, if anything your support has given us a huge amount of hope! We will keep chugging along through all this, and will keep putting our hearts, souls and backs into getting all in order so that you can be with us soon enough.

We hope you can hold on a little longer, and give thanks also for your patience as well as incredible support for us at this time.
