Who are we?
Welcome to Poole Hockey Club! Founded in 1893, we are one of the oldest sports clubs in the country.
With over 150 active members, male and female and ranging in age from 5 to 70, we are a community orientated club providing a fun and competitive team experience. We are a family club with members that have been playing in our teams for over 30 years and with three generations of the same family playing together on some occasions.
We welcome players of all ages and abilities so whether you’re a social player, aspiring international or completely new to the game, there’s a team for you at Poole!
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are a family club relying on volunteers and the local community to provide hockey for the town of Poole. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for all ages and abilities to pick up a hockey stick and have fun. We need additional funding to improve coaching, player development and club facilities.
How we’ll spend the money raised
All money raised will go towards developing our facilities to improve the experience of Poole Hockey Club players and the local community for years to come.
