Help Melton St Audry’s CC contribute to buying the ground and clubhouse at St Audry’s and secure our cricket club’s sporting future.

Help  Us Secure the Future of Cricket in Melton – Support the Purchase of the Ground and Clubhouse at St Audry’s

Melton St Audry’s Cricket Club has been a proud part of our community for generations, providing a place for people of all ages to play, grow, and belong. Today, we have an important opportunity to safeguard our club’s future – but we need your support to make it happen.

We are raising funds to secure the purchase of the clubhouse, playing field and facilities at St Audry’s, a venue that has long been at the heart of local sport and community life. Securing this facility will allow us to protect our home ground, expand our sporting opportunities, and ensure that cricket in Melton continues to thrive for years to come.

Buying the ground will not only give us long-term stability but will also open the door to improving facilities, supporting youth cricket, and providing a welcoming space for wider community events.

We aren’t doing this alone.

Our club officers have already been hard at work applying for a range of grants to support this project. As soon as we receive updates on these applications, we will share them here. Every contribution—large or small—brings us closer to our goal and strengthens our position when seeking grant support.

"Buy a Square" – Support the Club in a Lasting Way

To help us reach our target, we’re launching our “Buy a Square” initiative – a fun and symbolic way to become part of the club’s future. Sadly you won’t actually own the square, but your donation to our appeal will help the club make the purchase in due course.

You can “buy” a virtual square of the ground for:

  • £5,000 – Gold Square

  • £1,000 – Silver Square

  • £100 – Community Square

Every square “sold” will be recorded on a commemorative display once the purchase is complete, showing the incredible shared effort behind securing our home. Businesses, families, individuals and juniors are all encouraged to be a part of it.

Whether you can “buy” a Gold Square, a Silver Square, or a £100 Community Square, you’ll be helping us move one step closer to preserving cricket at Melton for generations to come.

This crowdfunder is a vital part of the funding package. Your donation will help us:

  • Protect and preserve a valued community sports venue

  • Secure a permanent home for Melton St Audry's Cricket Club and Melton Achilles Youth CC

  • Develop and improve facilities for players, families, and visitors

  • Continue building a strong sporting community for future generations

Whether or not St Audry’s has ever given you a place to play, watch, celebrate, or simply feel part of something, please consider supporting this campaign. Together, we can ensure its legacy continues.

Thank you for standing with us and helping us take this hugely important step.

Every pound—every square—makes a difference. Please donate and share our appeal far and wide.
