St. George's Primary & Wallasey Community

Aim

To build a brand new Multi-Use Games Area on the Claremount Road site, for both school and community, to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Who are we?

At St George's Primary School, we are committed to nurturing our community through opportunities, innovation, and love.
We believe that our children and community deserve the best possible education and opportunities that promote positive attitudes to learning, develop relationships and improve wellbeing.

We can apply for match funding when certain targets are met, elevating our pot to reach the goal! So keep donating, please. 

Why are we crowdfunding?

School alone, cannot afford this, there are only so many small grants we can apply for. That's why we need your help. With our community support, we can make this a reality and forever change the landscape of opportunity for Wallasey.

How we’ll spend the money raised.

All the money raised will go towards paying for the design and installation of the MUGA. No staffing costs or promotional work.

We have two targets.

* Target one - £60K to build a MUGA at standard size.

* Target two - £90K to build a bigger one, higher fencing which allows more participation.

We intend to achieve target two.

Community impact

The benefits for the St.George's community and beyond are huge. From supporting over 900 families in our school, we can support other schools with their activities, local sports clubs and community groups

Health and fitness, well-being and mental health are key factors in our project goals.

The facilities will be available for you to hire!!

How can you play your part?

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success! Hit that donate button!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout-out! Vouchers, experiences, gifts! You donate, we sell on!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes, and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
