We are a CIC with the purpose of platforming and supporting Whistleblowers in the Public/Emergency Services in the UK.
Hi, my name is Issy Vine.

From the beginning of 2020 to the end of 2024, I proudly served as an employee of the Metropolitan Police. But I was forced to resign after experiencing firsthand what happens when you speak out against misconduct within the force. I reported a colleague for racist, misogynistic, and sexist behavior—including following me home. A Gross Misconduct panel at New Scotland Yard found the allegations proven, and he was dismissed.
But just four months later, he was reinstated.
Why? A senior appeal decision-maker ruled that dismissal was “too harsh,” claiming the original panel was “too heavily influenced by VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) and the Baroness Casey Review.” He added that “you can have any opinion, no matter how harmful, and still work for the Met.”

When I escalated this, the Met admitted it had ignored my initial report for five months. I had to personally chase a Deputy Assistant Commissioner and go to the press before they acknowledged any failure. Yet, nearly a year later, in April 2025, I received an email from the Met stating they believe there is “nothing wrong” with how the case was handled.

This is why I created Speak Up Now UK.

What Is Speak Up Now UK?
Speak Up Now UK is a grassroots platform that empowers current and former public service and emergency service workers to anonymously report misconduct that their organisations have failed to address. We shine a spotlight on these failures, advocate for accountability, and demand that institutions uphold the standards they claim to represent.
This isn't just about me—it's about all of us. It's about protecting the public and improving the services we all rely on.
Why I Need Your Help
Running Speak Up Now UK involves personal costs, platform maintenance, outreach efforts, and legal advice. I’ve also launched a small ethical clothing line, The Noisy Tee, to support the campaign through merchandise—but I can't do this alone.
Your donation will help me:
Keep the platform running and accessible for whistleblowers
Fund awareness campaigns and advocacy work
Cover legal and operational costs as we continue challenging systemic failures
Support others coming forward with similar stories
Every penny helps. If you'd prefer to support by purchasing a t-shirt, visit our site for Merchandise – all proceeds go directly into funding Speak Up Now UK.

Thank you so much for standing with me and everyone who's ever been silenced for doing the right thing. Together, we can force change.
