SHARC Club House Build

Who are we?

Stone Hockey and Rugby Club, SHARC, are a family orientated Hockey and Rugby club providing fun and competitive sport for juniors and seniors. 

Why are we crowdfunding?

We have raised significant funding through grants and donations to start the project of the new club house.  We need to raise further funds to complete the build and ensure we have a high class facility for years to come.  We need the facilities to match the ambitions of the club.  The new club house and changing facility will provide a quality and safe space for us to prepare for hockey and rugby and enjoy each others company around the sport. 

How we’ll spend the money raised

We will purchase the items on our 'Club House Shopping List' and use every penny to complete the build to the highest standard. 

Community impact

This facility will the start of multi sports at Enson Lane.  We will provide a safe space for everyone in the community to take up sport and socialise with one another.  

We will have learning spaces inside the building and so we can take our schools out reach programmes to the next level.  Our own coaching and learning will also transform as a result of the new facility. 

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
