We want to repair our iconic, red phone boxes and bring them out of retirement to create connection and serve their communities again.
Our vision is to bring our urban grade II listed phone boxes out of retirement, and once again use them to create connection and community. We do this by developing sustainability-themed, adventure walks which use our iconic phone boxes as destination points, which unlock gamified content and activities.
We have three aims:
We are launching our first suite of walks in Richmond Upon Thames and are looking for funds to refurbish our 8 phone boxes and build the walks and activities on the Box Walks app. We need £6,680 minimum to achieve this. £5,680 will be spent on refurbishing the phone boxes. £1,000 will be spent building the relevant app components.
If you would like to take part in a Box Walks walk, please contribute to our fundraising efforts. We will be launching Box Walks on 13th June 2026. Come and visit our phone boxes after this date!
