We share food and friendship with homeless, older people and anyone who is struggling in London. We run services weekly and monthly. Every year, we organise a Christmas Eve dinner for all those who are in need. Overseas, we collaborate with Community of Sant'Egidio International to develop programmes in Sub-saharan Africa in the fields of health, education and nutrition.

The Sant'Egidio Story
The Community of Sant'Egidio in London is part of a worldwide movement that began in Rome in 1968. Born out of a desire to change the world by befriending people who live on the margins of our society: the homeless and elderly, migrants and refugees, people in conflict-ridden areas, those who are imprisoned, and so many more. Today, Sant'Egidio has over 60,000 members in more than 70 countries.
In London, we have fostered friendship with the homeless and the elderly in Victoria, Mayfair, Westminster, the West End, Kensington, Ladbroke Grove, Gloucester Road and beyond. We meet regularly for service and the prayer. We meet weekly to distribute food to people on the streets of central London and monthly to host a home-cooked meal for homeless and elderly people in St. Cuthbert's Church, Earls Court. All of our work is shaped by our spiritual life as a Christian community, centered around a weekly ecumenical prayer and times for group reflection.
We are an entirely volunteer-run charity, and we rely exclusively on the generous support of donors to be able to do what we do.
This means 100% of the donations we receive go towards our projects.
Thank you for helping us make our vision of peace and friendship a reality on the streets of London!
