1Dear Supporters and Animal Lovers,
We hope this message finds you well. As volunteers at the RSPCA East London and Havering Branch, we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for support.
Every RSPCA branch operates as a separate charity, and our dedicated team of volunteers takes on the immense responsibility of caring for animals in need. From rescuing and rehabilitating cruelly treated or abandoned animals to finding them loving homes, our efforts are driven by passion and commitment.
Unlike many organisations, we receive no government funding. It is the generosity of people like you, through your donations, that sustains our mission. Your support is the lifeline that enables us to provide veterinary care, ensure the safety and happiness of the animals in our care, and contribute to the well-being of our community.
Our resources are limited, and we currently focus on rescuing and rehabilitating animals that have been subjected to cruelty or abandonment. Your donations can make a significant impact, helping us expand our capacity to support pet owners, particularly in contributing towards vet bills.
During these challenging times, our pets have been sources of comfort and companionship. We believe they deserve the best care possible. Your contribution can aid us in:
Collaborating with local food banks to provide free pet food, addressing the high demand, especially for cat food.Raising awareness about responsible animal care and supporting subsidised neutering schemes.Facilitating the rehoming of animals, bringing joy to new owners and providing loving homes for those in need.Engaging with volunteers, offering opportunities for skill development and fostering connections in a time marked by loneliness.Sharing success stories on social media, demonstrating the transformative impact of our supporters.
The number of animals in need doesn't decrease, and unfortunately, our branch has witnessed a surge in abandoned cats and kittens in recent months. Your support is crucial to ensuring these animals get the lives they deserve.
Here's how your donation can make a difference:
- £32 pays for a health check for a cat brought into our care.
- £22.50 pays for neutering a male cat.
- £20 could cover medication for a cat in pain.
- £12 pays for one night of food and boarding for a cat.
- £5 could provide toys for a cat's boarding pen.
We understand that times have been tough for everyone, but the need for our services persists. Your support will not only contribute to the well-being of animals but also strengthen the bonds within our community.
Please consider making a donation today and join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.
Donate now and be a part of our journey in creating a better world for animals.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
