Aim: I aim to walk 84.7 miles in 2 days to raise money towards a big community buyback of Foxlease Activity Centre in the New Forest - we can win
2023 saw Girlguiding put Foxlease Activity Centre on the market for £2.5million. Foxie's Future is a CIO (Community Incorporated Organisation) which is putting a bid to buy back Foxlease from Girlguiding and is almost £1million of the way there. I'm joining Foxie's Winter Wandering challenge to help along the effort.
This is a big deal for me - I've visited Foxlease as a Brownie, Guide, Ranger and now a Leader in Girlguiding and there's nowhere like it. It's 100 years old, has hosted royalty and is rich with history and memory. You can find out more about the charity Foxie's Future at www.FoxiesFuture.co.uk - together we can do this!
