The Creative Hub aim to empower underserved youth, women, and disabled individuals in Edo State through skills, mentorship, and innovation.
Every day in Edo State, we meet young people and women with big dreams but little access to the opportunities that could change their lives. Some are gifted in fashion, storytelling, or digital creativity. Others are simply determined to build a better future. Yet, too often, they remain trapped without training, mentorship, or the tools to turn their dreams into reality.
Richard George Foundation has been shaped by a passion for transforming lives through empowerment and education. We believe that talent exists in abundance, but access to resources, skills, and opportunities is what sets successful individuals apart.
Over the years, we’ve trained more than 5,000 young people, mentored over 2,000 entrepreneurs, and helped launch hundreds of small businesses across various sectors. However, we recognize that the demand for more impactful, scalable interventions continues to grow. That’s why we are taking a bold step forward with the RGF Creative Hub in Benin City, Edo State, a transformative space designed to prepare youth, women, and marginalized groups for the future of work, enterprise, and sustainability.
Our vision is simple but powerful: to equip the next generation of changemakers with the tools, mentorship, and real-world experience they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. We want to close the gap between raw potential and sustainable livelihoods by offering a platform where innovation, education, and mentorship converge. Through five core initiatives. Women in Business, Internship Development, Digital Innovation & Skills, Sustainability, and Creative Media. The hub will provide inclusive pathways for economic independence.
With the funds raised, we will bring this vision to life by:
1. Equipping the Hub: The money will be used to purchase state-of-the-art tools, multimedia studio equipment, and digital training resources.
2. Building Capacity: We will hire experienced facilitators, mentors, and support staff to lead training programs across multiple sectors.
3. Creating an Ecosystem: The funds will enable us to set up innovation labs, sustainable enterprise kits, and digital hubs to offer hands-on learning experiences.
4. Launching Programs: This includes launching the Women in Business initiative, sustainability training, and internships that directly connect youth to employers and real-world projects.
This is not just about creating a space; it’s about building an ecosystem that will empower over 500 young people annually, launch 50+ micro-businesses, and bridge the digital divide in Edo State. Through strategic partnerships with Mindatorium and DIPESH Africa, we are positioned to create impact at scale.
We are not just asking for funds. We’re asking for the opportunity to change lives, to move from potential to real, measurable outcomes.
With your support, we will unlock the creativity, innovation, and resilience of the underserved youth in Edo State, transforming them into leaders and change agents in their communities and beyond.
