We're still collecting donations
On the 21st April 2023 we'd raised £5,100 with 113 supporters in 32 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 21st April 2023 we'd raised £5,100 with 113 supporters in 32 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
With the money raised we will hire a suitable venue with good access for local transport.
We will provide a fun choir rehearsal with a tea break providing drinks and biscuits or cakes.
We will liaise with dementia and Alzheimer specialists and get an expert onboard to offer advice on the running of the Remember When project.
We will provide printed lyrics for every member.
We can also extend the project out into Care Homes and providing singing sessions within carehomes for people who are unable to leave their homes
Chief Radio is the sister CIC company of Sing in the City.
We pride ourselves on working with our communities and providing music projects for all. Our Director Kirsty Baird has had a family member suffer with dementia and feels passionate about building a warm welcoming rehearsal space for people with dementia, Alzheimers or their carers.
Sing in the City has run choirs and singing workshops for over 13 years and along with Chief Radio they have raised over £160k for charity and community.
We want to invite people along to be a member of this very special singing group so they can sing, share stories, laugh, have a cup of tea and just be together.

We are crowdfunding so that we can raise funds to provide a free to attend choir for anyone who is living with or supporting someone living with Alzheimer’s or dementia. The more money we are able to raise, the longer we will be able to run this special project and the more people we will be able to reach and support
The money raised from your kind donations and the crowdmatch funding will be spent to ensure we can provide a safe and suitable environment to run this project from. It will pay for our singing leaders to run the sessions and most importantly to provide refreshments at each rehearsal so we can create a warm social aspect to all of our singing sessions. We will use the monies raised to provide lyric sheets, singing folders and other pieces of equipment that can help us make this project accessible to all
