What is the problem?
Pick any health and social care analyst or news outlet and you will hear the same story - our NHS is broken.
From The King's Fund to CNN, we cannot deny that the NHS is in crisis. To echo words from The King's Fund, "Our health and social care services are facing challenges on many fronts."
From record waiting lists to high staff vacancy rates, the NHS is in need of many improvements, however, the NHS is struggling for money to invest in important improvement projects.
From the youngest of us, to the oldest of us, we need to help heal our NHS. Our NHS needs us.
What is our solution?
Our solution is Quality Improvement!
At Quantum QI Coaching, we use expertise in clinical human factors and quality improvement science to help clinical staff improve work systems, work processes and patient outcomes.
What is Quality Improvement?
Quality Improvement in healthcare is a systematic approach used to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of the way healthcare is delivered. It involves identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and continuously monitoring and evaluating the impact of those changes so that we can achieve better results.
In healthcare, quality improvement projects are used by healthcare staff to investigate problems and fix them. They are also used to review the way people work and make improvements.
Unfortunately, however, not everyone in the NHS is trained on how to do quality improvement projects. In many cases, healthcare staff need a mentor. This is where we come in.
Here Is Our Vision
This year, with your help, we would like to offer free quality improvement project coaching to at least 5 NHS hospital teams or community services in South East England (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex).
This will mean coaching and mentoring 5 NHS teams for at least 3-4 months through any quality improvement project of their choice at no cost to them. From projects aimed at improving infection control practices to projects aimed at improving staff wellbeing and patient satisfaction - we want to help our NHS teams work more efficiently to achieve good outcomes for their staff and patients.
How Your Donation Will Help
Your donation of any amount will help us offer free quality improvement project coaching to NHS teams and services that need it most.
For every £5,000 raised, we will provide quality improvement project coaching to an NHS hospital team or community service from inception to completion of any quality improvement project of their choice at no cost to them.
Help us to help our NHS. Together we can help support our NHS one quality improvement project at a time.
Please give generously.
