Pride In Gloucestershire

RCN 1185201, Gloucester

Pride in Gloucestershire runs activities to bring the LGBTQ community together in a safe space and promote equality and diversity. We run an annual free-entry Pride event and parade in Gloucester each September with another 5 satellite and smaller Prides in the small towns across the county. In addition we operate a Trans* Social group and an LGBTQ Inclusions network for employers. Everything we do is based on our core values: Community, Inclusion, Accessibility, Solidarity and Sustainability

Pride In Gloucestershire

Pride in Gloucestershire exists to promote diversity and equality surrounding sexual orientation and gender identity in the county of Gloucestershire UK.

We celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and identity and the progress we have already made, campaign to end discrimination, tackle hate crime and address the issues that LGBTQ+ people face and then seek to connect the LGBTQ+ community of the county with each other and also to relevant support and Advice services and social groups.

Whilst we do most of this through Pride events across the county (we are running 6 of these in 2024) taking Pride to rural towns and communities we also engage and support other LGBTQ+ groups and reach out to business and the public sector to help represent our community.

We also run the Trans* in Gloucestershire group and an Inclusions network for Employers.
