Fragrant planting in North Walsham town centre

Aim
North Walsham in Bloom is a friendly group of volunteers who would like to improve the Church Slope planting by adding some fragrant shrubs.
NWIB volunteers meet regularly to maintain the many flower borders and planters around the town. We wish to plant some additional fragrant shrubs, low maintenance perennials and spring bulbs in two prominent areas of the town centre (the churchyard bank and Church Slope, where there is ample seating and evening lighting) to enhance the existing planting for everyone to enjoy throughout the year. Please refer to the photo included for an idea of the current planting in winter.
